Khachverats signifie \u00ab\u00a0\u00e9lever la croix\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;histoire rapporte qu&#8217;en 614, le roi perse Khosrov II Parvez (590-628) attaqua J\u00e9rusalem et s&#8217;en empara. Afin de la r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer, il d\u00e9clara la guerre sainte au roi Khosrov.
